The story of this velvet is akin to the creation of the Innate collection itself. The desire was to create a superbly thick and luxurious velvet in a rich rust tone. Italy's premium velvet weaver realised the weave… but achieving the colour was a whole other story. Australia’s desert heart achieved its iconic red colour from the ‘rusting’ of its vast inland seas.
Dimensions: Available as 50 x 50 , 40 x 60 and 60 x 60 cushions.

The Innate textile collection by Fiona Spence and Wanda Jelmini embrace that paradox, forging a contemporary Australian aesthetic. The inaugural soft furnishings and bath towel collection takes its inspiration from works by celebrated Australian painter Luke Sciberras.
