The String® Pocket invites creativity and personality where you can combine two or three String® Pocket shelves into one larger shelf. Mix and match different colours and wooden alternatives to suit your style and preferences. Since the shelf is neat and practical it fits equally well as a nightstand as an extra shelf in your hallway.

Dimensions: The String® Pocket is sold as one complete unit containing two wire panels, height 50 cm, and three shelves, width 58 cm and depth 15 cm.

About the Brand: String Furniture

String System is a series of components featuring wire panels that offer almost unlimited combinations. The system is a multi-award winning design which has now become a design classic.

Over time, additional product groups have seen the light of day and String has kindly made room in the product portfolio for Works and Museum. Museum came to life on completely different terms. Architect studio TAF, Gabriella Lenke and Mattias Ståhlbom, was commissioned by the Swedish Nationalmuseum to design a console shelf for the museums bust collection as part of the artistic collaboration NM&.

About the Designer: Nisse & Kajsa Strinning

Kajsa and Nisse Strinning were a young architect couple in Stockholm when they won their first international design competition with String in 1949. Of course, String went on to become the String® System, and remains one of Sweden's most loved designs, as well as the world’s. Thanks to its elegant simplicity and ingenious construction, String® has earned a place in design history.
