Designed by Sebastian Summa, the ORG Pendant is a striking fusion of industrial grit and celestial elegance. Inspired by science fiction and the mysteries of astronomy, the ORG lamp embodies the poetic movement of a shooting star, casting a soft, enchanting glow across any space. About the Brand: DCW Editions

DCW éditions is a french company, founded in 2008 by Philippe Cazer and Frédéric Winkler. They first produced the Lampe Gras, created in 1921 by the inventor Bernard-Albon Gras, first articulated lamp of the history, much lauded at the time by Le Corbusier.

2013 saw them bring out the Mantis lamps of British designer Bernard Schottlander. The Mantis were created in 1951 as an homage to Alexander Calder. DCW Éditions then released the singular Here Comes the Sun, designed by Bertrand Balas in 1970.

As the past is nothing without the future, DCW innovated by editing for instance In the Tube, specially designed by world renowned architect Dominique Perrault and his partner Gaëlle Lauriot-Prévost.

About the Designer: Sebastian Summa

Sebastian was born in Bavaria. He studied design at the University of Applied Sciences in Potsdam and now lives in Berlin. It is not easy to encounter Sebastian on the design scene. He prefers to work in his studio in East Berlin. A hands-on designer, he began his career as a blacksmith and completed his apprenticeship in a metalworking factory before attending university. Scrap metal, iron, and steel were part of his everyday life. His studio exists outside of time; his work is his clock.
