Designed for HAY by expert glass artist Jochen Holz, Jug’s simple yet elegant design is strengthened by its distinctively shaped rim and downward curve of the handle. Made from heat-resistant borosilicate glass with excellent durability, Jug is available in several different sizes and colour combinations.

Jochen Holz is glass maker from Germany who now lives and works in London. He first studied to be a technical glass blower in Germany, but later he completed a BA Honours in Applied Arts at Edinburgh College of Art and a MA in Ceramics and Glass at The Royal College of Art. He is specialised in lamp working, so he transforms high quality glass tubes into one-off glassware to make unique lamps. Because he let the process and materiality of molten glass play a central role in his practice, you can see the spontaneity in his design
