Inspired by the rising sun, Toulouse-born architect Bertrand Balas designed the Here Comes The Sun in 1970, recalling the sun setting over the Garonne river. At first glance, this original design is like all the other lamps that get called an ‘original’. But once lit, the hanging lamp takes on a magical quality. Darkness loses its rawness and metamorphoses into something reassuring. Hung as a single focal point or in cluster, the Here Comes the Sun pendant is magical when illuminated and imparts a soft, warm glow to any space that it is placed in, evoking an image of the very thing it seeks to represent.
