Inspired by Tove Kindt-Larsen’s 1936 sketch, the Grace Lounge Chair has become a standout in the GUBI Collection. The new outdoor edition brings its sculptural beauty and nature-inspired aesthetic into open-air spaces, with a modern upgrade in synthetic rattan crafted from powder coated aluminium and polyethylene fibres. Lightweight, durable, and versatile, the Grace Outdoor Lounge Chair transitions effortlessly between indoor and outdoor settings. Available in Alabaster White, Black and Mushroom Grey, it features a deep seat cushion upholstered in weather-resistant fabric for outdoor use.

Dimensions: 74cm H x 78.5cm W x 75cm D | 43 SH

Materials: Mirroring the crafted expression of the indoor version, the alfresco edition replaces rattan with a sophisticated synthetic equivalent. Made from powder-coated tubular aluminium and polyethylene fibres, this material offers the same flexibility as rattan while reinforcing the frame and improving stability. Its enhanced resistance to weathering and UV ensures that Grace can become a durable and stylish fixture in outdoor spaces such as patios, balconies, and terraces.

Base available in Alabaster White, Black or Mushroom Grey.
Upholstery available in a variety of GUBI approved outdoor suited fabrics.

Tove Kindt-Larsen (née Reddersen, 1906-1994) was one of the first female designers to emerge during Denmark’s ‘Golden Era’ in the mid-twentieth century. She is well-known for working with her husband, Edvard Kindt-Larsen (1901- 1982), but her own influence should not be underestimated. By acquiring the rights to pieces that she designed prior to her partnership with her husband, GUBI aims to restore her to her rightful place in design history.
