Inspired by the traditional know-how of pleated fabric lampshades, Colonne is the first complete range of lighting fixtures created by Fabrice Berrux. Whether floor lamps, pendant lights or even wall lights, they all claim a decorative presence whether switched off or on. Their timelessness means that I hope we can project ourselves into a luminous future with them.

Materials: Shade in polyester taffeta with base in black marble, white marble or white-painted metal. Integrated LED.

About the Brand: DCW Editions

DCW éditions is a french company, founded in 2008 by Philippe Cazer and Frédéric Winkler. They first produced the Lampe Gras, created in 1921 by the inventor Bernard-Albon Gras, first articulated lamp of the history, much lauded at the time by Le Corbusier.

2013 saw them bring out the Mantis lamps of British designer Bernard Schottlander. The Mantis were created in 1951 as an homage to Alexander Calder. DCW Éditions then released the singular Here Comes the Sun, designed by Bertrand Balas in 1970.

As the past is nothing without the future, DCW innovated by editing for instance In the Tube, specially designed by world renowned architect Dominique Perrault and his partner Gaëlle Lauriot-Prévost.

About the Designer: Fabrice Berrux

Fabrice Berrux loves beautiful light. Trained at the École Nationale des Beaux-Arts de Dijon, from which he graduated in 1986, he began his career in interior design. In 1987, he founded the 18 Août group with Bruno Moretti and Pascal Oriol.
In 1991, Fabrice Berrux founded Dix Heures Dix. He expanded the production of 18 Août. In 2024, to open up new horizons, 10 HEURES 10 became a label of DCW éditions.
Fabrice Berrux is an enthusiast of contemporary art. The curves of his objects are inspired by On Kawara, Robert Smithson, Pablo Picasso and Lucio Fontana. Since 1990, his creations have been part of the collections of the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, while his products are sold in museum boutiques, including that of the Centre Pompidou.
