GUBI House Paris

GUBI expands its European presence with the opening of GUBI House Paris, its first permanent showroom in France. Set within a historic private apartment, the space presents the GUBI Collection in a context shaped by contemporary living. Generous, light-filled proportions, high ceilings, and tall French windows frame preserved architectural details – fireplaces, mouldings, and internal staircases – forming an authentic setting for contemporary design. Daylight moves gradually through the rooms, animating materials and subtly shifting the atmosphere from morning clarity to evening warmth.

‘GUBI House Paris is not conceived as a traditional showroom but as a real interior. In Paris, design is inseparable from daily life – it exists in conversation, movement, and atmosphere. The apartment allows the GUBI Collection to be experienced exactly that way.’ – Marie Kristine Schmidt, CEO, GUBI

Across a sequence of connected rooms, the collection is experienced through everyday situations – gathering, dining, working, and relaxing – interpreted through the scale, light,
and architectural character of the Parisian interior. Part of a wider network of GUBI Houses GUBI House Paris joins the brand’s existing spaces in some of Europe’s most influential cities, forming a growing constellation of GUBI Houses across key creative capitals. Each house interprets the collection through its local architecture and culture. GUBI House Copenhagen reflects GUBI’s origins and its harbour-side warehouse context. GUBI House London situates the collection within a historic British townhouse. GUBI House Paris presents a distinctly French interpretation of the GUBI universe, where a century of design meets the cultural character of the capital. Here, the collection unfolds within an atmospheric apartment setting, revealing an evocative Parisian perspective on modern living.

‘Paris has always been a design-led city where architecture, fashion, art, and interiors influence one another. Each GUBI House translates the collection through its city, and in Paris the pieces live naturally within this cultural dialogue - less displayed and more lived with.’ – Marie Kristine Schmidt, CEO, GUBI

In the heart of the City of Light

Paris has long been a meeting point for architecture, interiors, fashion, and the decorative arts – a city where design culture moves fluidly between disciplines. Situated in the 8th arrondissement, GUBI House Paris places the brand within this creative landscape, among galleries, studios, showrooms, and the wider network of designers, architects, stylists, and tastemakers shaping the city today. The location establishes the space as a design destination as much as a showroom - a place for the design community to experience the collection in person, discover new perspectives, and draw inspiration within a curated context. Paris-exclusive installations and styling moments anchor the spatial narrative, creating a platform for product premieres, collaborations, and cultural activations.

The modern Parisian apartment

GUBI House Paris occupies a historic apartment in the 8th arrondissement, a district defined by the grand boulevards, elegant architecture, cultural landmarks, and enduring cultural life.

Each room reveals a distinct facet of contemporary living – intimate, layered, and expressive – drawing from residential comfort, hospitality environments, and modern workspace culture. A curated journey of colour, texture, and material guides movement through the apartment, blending cultural references with modern sensibilities.
