Pira System
Pira is a metallic work of art that creates a centre-piece wherever it stands. The original Pira shelf designed in 1954 was as contradictory as the man who conceived it. Olle Pira (1927-2018) was a traditional master cabinet-maker who crafted cherry, maple and matured oak with age-old skills. Now, architect Anna von Schewen and industrial designer Björn Dahlström re-imagine Olle Pira’s 1954 icon. Pira has a modular design and can be free-standing, with floor-to-ceiling tension, or wall mounted. It is equally well-suited to larger living areas as public spaces, elegant and robust at the same time with gravitas in material and dimensions.
Materials: Poles made of extruded aluminium in black grey or white. Shelves of sheet steel, with an integral ridge. Cabinets, organisers in walnut or white oak.
Max weight - 50 kg/shelf, 350 kg/section.
Floor-ceiling or wall mounted.

String System is a series of components featuring wire panels that offer almost unlimited combinations. The system is a multi-award winning design which has now become a design classic.
Over time, additional product groups have seen the light of day and String has kindly made room in the product portfolio for Works and Museum. Museum came to life on completely different terms. Architect studio TAF, Gabriella Lenke and Mattias Ståhlbom, was commissioned by the Swedish Nationalmuseum to design a console shelf for the museums bust collection as part of the artistic collaboration NM&.
