Munari 8 by Lutz Pankow for DCW éditions sits between sculpture and light. Eight integrated LED spheres are held on fine metal rods in a balanced, poetic structure that recalls magnetic field lines or a constellation of planets.

Supplied pre-assembled, it only needs the canopy fixed and the pendant hung. A sculptural pendant light for a dining table, stair or living room. Available in Black or Gold.

About the Brand: DCW Editions

DCW éditions is a french company, founded in 2008 by Philippe Cazer and Frédéric Winkler. They first produced the Lampe Gras, created in 1921 by the inventor Bernard-Albon Gras, first articulated lamp of the history, much lauded at the time by Le Corbusier.

2013 saw them bring out the Mantis lamps of British designer Bernard Schottlander. The Mantis were created in 1951 as an homage to Alexander Calder. DCW Éditions then released the singular Here Comes the Sun, designed by Bertrand Balas in 1970.

As the past is nothing without the future, DCW innovated by editing for instance In the Tube, specially designed by world renowned architect Dominique Perrault and his partner Gaëlle Lauriot-Prévost.

About the Designer: Lutz Pankow

For industrial designer Lutz Pankow, born in Lisbon in 1968 and raised in South America, a childhood spent alongside his father, an aeronautical engineer, sparked a lifelong passion. The result is Munari, conceived like a scientific construction set, allowing the creation of a graphic pendant light that evokes a magnetic vortex—emitting powerful light while remaining as light as a dream.
