Loux Rug

Loux is a handwoven pile rug with a luminous surface and sensual materiality, crafted from lyocell. With 2.7 million single yarns per square metre secure into a woven base using the double-back technique, Loux offers a dense, luxuriously soft texture. With its fully cut pile, Loux presents a smooth, solid surface that beautifully reflects light, lending the rug a timeless and refined appearance.

Loux is offered in a palette of 12 colours inspired by the lustre of precious metals and stones, ranging from cool, pearlescent tones of porcelain, silver and oyster to deeper, rich tones of brass, cedar and onyx. Designed for residential spaces with light to moderate use, Loux can be customised in size, shape and finishing details, offering understated elegance tailored to individual spaces.

Materials: 100% lyocell

Lyocell is a fibre produced from regenerated cellulose, a natural and renewable material typically derived from wood pulp. With its fine filament structure, lyocell’s softness resembles that of silk, while its durability ensures long-lasting beauty. Its exceptional light-reflecting quality gives textiles and rugs a distinctive lustre and dynamic surface. Lyocell absorbs and releases moisture quickly, helping regulate temperature and contributing to a comfortable interior climate.

The fibre is produced through a closed-loop system. Wood pulp is first dissolved using solvents, to create a viscous solution, which is then filtered and spun into fibres. These fibres are washed, dried and spun into yarn. More than 99% of the solvents are recovered and reused, minimising waste and conserving water.
