Jute and Wool – a new material composition in our rug collection – is a rug that has been designed and crafted to be responsible in the use of resources. Jute is a plant-based material that has been chosen for its strength as well as its environmentally-friendly credentials. It is locally sourced in India, where it is cultivated, manufactured and spun before being woven by hand. As the jute and a part of the wool is left undyed, less dyestuff, water and energy are used.

Materials: 68% jute, 32% pure New Zealand wool

Additional Information: Handwoven in India, with part of the jute and wool left undyed
Pile height: 11mm

Sizes exclude 3cm fringes at top and bottom. Fringes can be removed on request.
Jute has a natural scent that fades over time. Do not saturate with water.
Please note that Kvadrat rugs are hand woven and are subject to a +/- 5% variation to the overall rug size.
A rug underlay is recommended.
Professional cleaning is recommended.
