The In The Sun collection designed by Dominique Perrault and Gaëlle Lauriot-Prévost pays homage to the Sun King. Its 5-position switch lets you vary the light intensity, and bathes the table that hosts it with its joyful lights and festive shadows. This cordless table lamp, a real jewel candle, is powered by a rechargeable battery.

DCW éditions is a french company, founded in 2008 by Philippe Cazer and Frédéric Winkler. They first produced the Lampe Gras, created in 1921 by the inventor Bernard-Albon Gras, first articulated lamp of the history, much lauded at the time by Le Corbusier.
2013 saw them bring out the Mantis lamps of British designer Bernard Schottlander. The Mantis were created in 1951 as an homage to Alexander Calder. DCW Éditions then released the singular Here Comes the Sun, designed by Bertrand Balas in 1970.
As the past is nothing without the future, DCW innovated by editing for instance In the Tube, specially designed by world renowned architect Dominique Perrault and his partner Gaëlle Lauriot-Prévost.

About the Designer: Dominique Perrault and Gaëlle Lauriot-Prévost
Gaëlle Lauriot-Prévost, an interior architect and designer, joined Dominique Perrault’s agency, founded in 1981, at the inception of the Bibliothèque nationale de France project. Together, they have crafted a unique architectural language defined by innovative concepts like «groundscape,» which refers to the architecture of underground spaces, as well as technical advancements; they were pioneers in the use of metal mesh in architecture.
Over the past three decades, their collaboration has led to the creation of iconic buildings. Recently Gaëlle Lauriot- Prévost and Dominique Perrault express their architectural vision through furniture, objects, and lighting, always ensuring that the boldness of their designs serves a functional purpose.
