Our Story:

Founded by Louise Bastiras in 2019, alongside her husband John Bastiras, the shared dream of two passionate, design-focused minds - In Good Company is the organic outcome of a combined three decades entrenched at different ends of the spectrum of Australia’s design landscape. A family-owned furniture, lighting and homewares retailer; showcasing leading contemporary design from around the globe, including our made-in-Melbourne collection John Bastiras Design.

Great spaces are more than the sum of their parts; more than just functional, convenient, and beautiful. They host the daily moments that define our stories and contain them indefinitely, feeding our memories, our eyes, and our most basic needs. The table where we gather with friends for dinner, the stool we pull up to the bar before a date, the bedside table that holds the captivating read of the moment—this is the furniture that makes interaction with our spaces a meaningful experience.
