The Opala floor light was one of the three Opala lamps originally designed for Hotel Scandinavia in Copenhagen. This floor light was for many years widely appreciated as a beautiful and exclusive floor light for both private homes and large projects like e.g. the Churchill College in Cambridge by Architect Henning Larsen. For the Churchill College, the Floor light was for the first time manufactured in white.
Opala Midi Floor Light has never previously been in production.

Material
Shade manufactured in impact resistant, high gloss opal acrylic. Top in wet painted aluminium. The impact-resistant acrylic shade contains rubber, ensuring it gives out a warm glow regardless of the bulb used.
